Ayer

Jamie secured a $2 million MassWorks grant for construction of new commuter rail parking, passed legislation to provide additional liquor license for Ayer to promote economic development in downtown Ayer, advocated for increased state funding to help the Ayer and Shirley public schools regionalize. Senator Eldridge also secured a $1.2 million MassWorks infrastructure grant to connect Ayer sewer to the Four Corners development and advocated with the DCR Commissioner to create more parking for users of the Nashua River Rail Trail. Jamie also secured $750,000 in CDBG funds to improve the water infrastructure of the Grove Pond neighborhood.
