Senator Eldridge announces 43rd Annual Senior Conference for Thursday April 18th

Middlesex and Worcester District – State Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Marlborough) is proud to announce the return of the in-person 43rd Annual Senior Conference this year in the Middlesex and Worcester District. The Senior Conference will be held on Thursday, April 18th from 7:30 am to 2 pm at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough, where it has traditionally been held. 

The Senior Conference is intended to provide seniors with a day of useful information, entertainment and educational workshops from expert guest speakers on topics including aging well, solo aging, and resources for caregivers and family members. Senator Eldridge also provides free breakfast, and a delicious free lunch made by the culinary students of Assabet Valley.

“We will provide seniors with critical information, entertainment, food, and of course raffle prizes, including the Big Chair from Bouvier Pharmacy of Marlborough! I look forward to hearing the concerns of seniors, discussing state initiatives to better support older residents in Massachusetts, and highlighting the work of the Legislature so far this session,” said Senator Eldridge. 

This event will be held at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Marlborough. The Senior Conference’s program includes Resources for Seniors, Yoga, Vendors, speakers from the MA Legislature, a newly added watercolor painting demonstration by Maynard ArtSpace**, and raffle giveaways. Senator Eldridge is excited to kick off this year’s event with special performances by  Dan “April” Feng, Fumiko Mizuno, and local Marlborough music group, The Romeos Duo.
